Zone Marketing Team Sees First Promotions of 2016

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - March 4, 2016 - PRLog -- Employee growth is an essential key to having a successful business. Team members at Zone Marketing are always presented with the opportunity to move up in the organization. Over the last two weeks, the office has celebrated the promotions of two team members.

Gerald Baraza and Mike Bearup were promoted to Account Manager in late February. Both have been with Zone Marketing for a month and are on their way through the six stages of management. These two promotions are a testament that if you put in enough hard work and dedication, there is ability to move through the training system.

“I think the biggest thing that allowed them to be successful was attending the Knoxville business trip,” Zone Marketing President Scott Sanhamel said. “We see those business trips as a big way to keep learning and earn promotions.”

The Knoxville trip was a good experience for both and attributed greatly in the decision to promote both. Sanhamel is also looking forward to giving Mike and Gerald more responsibility in the office. These responsibilities include doing morning meetings, taking on second round interviews, and office management.

“Mike, on his first day as an Account Manager, took out a second round interview,” Sanhamel said with a smile. “That was also his 11^th day in the office and on his 13^th day, he is helping to train someone in the entry level position.”

The promotions for Mike and Gerald are only the start to their success. As they continue to learn and grow, they have the opportunity to take the next step in the management training program which is Assistant Manager.
