Kanye West “Yeezy” Fashion, TV, Movies – Model-Actress Nicole Bonifacio Hits New York
She doesn't look like the usual model or actress, but she's turning heads in New York City. Nicole "Nikki" Bonifacio, a Solano County girl, is making it big in The Big Apple.
“I wake up thinking is this all real,” Bonifacio says.
The 22-year-old was born in Solano County (Vallejo) and lived in Hercules before moving to New York just this past summer. She hasn’t stopped working since.

“I’m short; I’m a woman of color; but I have a fire so big inside, it can’t be stopped. I want to let other girls know you don’t have to fit the usual industry standards to be successful,”
Over the last several months, Bonifacio has established an impressive list of modeling and acting credits and become eligible for membership in SAG (Screen Actors Guild), something coveted by every actor. She’s modeled for the Gap; walked the runway in Sacramento Fashion Week; been featured in the United Kingdom edition of Harper’s Bazaar and worked with models and designers from the hit TV shows “Project Runway,” and “America’s Next Top Model.” She’s also done video commercials for Macy’s, Hilton Hotels, and a new Asics sports shoe collection for the New York boutique store Extra Butter (view video here: https://vimeo.com/
“It’s not about your size; success in anything is more about belief in yourself and really going after what you want,” she says.
Bonifacio took her first acting class when she was in the eighth grade. She studied modeling at City College of San Francisco with instructors who worked with internationally-
Bonifacio will return home briefly in mid-March to visit with friends and family who still live in Hercules. Then, she’s off to Southern California to model in the Los Angeles Style Fashion Week shows.
