The Marathon of the Treasure Coast Welcomes Olympian Jeff Galloway

Stuart, Florida – The Marathon of the Treasure Coast is pleased to announce that renowned trainer, author, and Olympian Jeff Galloway will participate in the 2016 Marathon starting and finishing at Memorial Park, on March 6, 2016.

 Galloway will be a keynote speaker and will host his world-renowned running seminar in Stuart on March 5 from 8 am to 11 am at the Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce 1650 SE Kanner Highway, Stuart, FL.  The date has been changed from March 4 to March 5  to allow more people to participate.

Participant perks include; direct access to Jeff via email afterwards, learning how to run faster, learning nutrition and eating for top performance, personalized instruction on running drills and individualized question/answer period.  The cost per participant is $99.00 for new runners and those who register for the Stuart Galloway Full/Half Marathon Training Program at the Jeff Galloway Running School will receive 50% off of the upcoming Stuart Galloway training program.  Past and current PGL’s are eligible for a 50% discount for the running school.  Contact stuartgalloway15@gmail.com for the special discount code.  Space is limited so don’t wait!

       On Saturday, March 5, Galloway will be on hand during the day at the fitness expo at Flagler Place to sign autographs and then will be a guest speaker at the Pasta Party, part of the Marathon Rock & Run Festival, at Terra Fermata at 5:30 pm on Saturday, March 5.

  Galloway was a member of the 1972 U.S. Olympic Team, and in 1973 set a world record in the 10,000-meter distance. Today he remains a competitive athlete in masters races and is best known as the founder of the Galloway Run-Walk-Run endurance method and for conducting a broad range of training programs. He has written over 20 books and writes a monthly column for Runner’s World magazine.

 Terra Fermata will be hosting the Marathon Rock & Run Festival, which will feature live music in a variety of venues on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and the Pasta Party on Saturday evening.  All-access 3-day passes are available for $30 for an individual and $45 for a family weekend pass at  www.terrafermata.com
