By: PatrickScottPatterson.com Nintendo Quest, released last year, follows longtime gaming fan Jay Bartlett as he attempts to buy every licensed Nintendo Entertainment System game in just 30 days. Denton resident Patrick Scott Patterson appears as one of the gaming experts within the film, which also talks to various video game icons they meet along the way. In the film, Patterson appears in scenes shot at San Diego Comic-Con in 2013, where the lasting legacy of Nintendo is discussed. Later in the film, he appears again as Bartlett's adventures take him through Denton, including a scene shot on the lawn of the famed Denton Courthouse. Nintendo Quest went on sale on Amazon.com last last year as both a physical DVD and in digital form. As of February 24, it is also available on Target.com, BestBuy.com and BarnesandNoble.com. The film isn't the first for Patterson, who also appears in video gaming documentaries such as World 1-1, Pixel Poetry and the upcoming films Madness and The New 8-Bit Heroes. He and McCallum are set to team up again for Box Art: A Gaming Documentary with Patterson attached as a Producer. That film is scheduled to begin filming this summer.
