NAPLES, Fla. - Feb. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- The third and last concert of the Beaux Arts Chamber Music Series presented by Opera Naples (http://operanaples.org/) will take place on March 8 at the Wang Opera Center, 2408 Linwood Ave. in Naples. The performance will feature the Grammy Award-winning Ying Quartet. As part of its O.N.E Community initiative, Opera Naples has invited orchestra students from Collier County high schools to attend the performance free of charge. The Beaux Arts Chamber Music Series takes place at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10-$35 and are available online at operanaples.org or by calling (239) 963-9050.

Founded by the internationally renowned pianists, Tao Lin and Dr. Catherine Lan, the Beaux Arts Chamber Music Series is gaining a reputation as a showcase of world-class musicianship. This last performance features the three Ying siblings. Janet Ying (violin), Philip Ying (viola), and David Ying (cello), have performed in major cities across the U.S., at numerous festivals and in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Japan and Taiwan. They have also played in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and The White House.

In 2005, The Ying Quartet won a Grammy Award. In 2003, 2007 and 2010, they were also nominated for the award. Their album, The Ying Quartet play LifeMusic was named editor's choice by Gramophone magazine and was the first in a continuing series of LifeMusic commissions.
