Stephenson Personal Care to launch innovative range of cold-process emulsifiers at InCosmetics
Environmental concern is driving major transformation in the cosmetics industry, as more sustainable solutions and natural products are increasingly in demand throughout the cosmetic supply chain. Imagine the amount of energy and time that could be saved if the heating and cooling stages of production could be eliminated - and by doing so, helping cosmetic manufacturers to save costs and improve the sustainability of their business?
DUROSOFT® is a unique range of naturally derived polyglyceryl esters, using patent-pending technology, to provide the widest HLB range for a greater stability profile. In comparison with traditional hot-process manufacture, DUROSOFT® can be cold processed, which creates a number of benefits for the cosmetic formulator – from achieving tighter energy standards through to reduced energy consumption - as they seek to meet key product performance criteria and improve the sustainability of their business. By formulating with DUROSOFT®, cosmetic formulators can realise a number of benefits:
•Improving carbon footprint: reduces energy consumption
•Improves production throughput - leading to substantial cost savings
•Shorter product development time
•Simpler and safer manufacturing process
•Reduced raw material inventory
•Enhancing brand image as a sustainable producer
•Application areas include: water-thin lotions, creams, shower oils and wet wipes
Stephenson Personal Care will be showcasing its DUROSOFT® range on stand M120, Hall 1, at InCosmetics, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, between 12-14 April 2016. Visitors can also learn more about the product and the process, by attending the innovation seminar titled ‘RSPO and Palm Free Emulsifiers for Natural Cosmetics’, led by Stephenson Personal Care’s Technical Business Development Manager, Lucy Simmonds, on Thursday 14 April 2016, 12:10 - 12:40 in Theatre 2.
