180 Skills Hires New Senior Vice President for Strategic Partnerships to Address the National Skills Gap

INDIANAPOLIS - Feb. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- 180 Skills, LLC has selected Jeff Terp as their new Senior Vice President for Strategic Partnerships.  He started his new position on Monday.

As Senior Vice President, Terp will lead the sales and marketing for the company and will focus on national and international strategic partnerships.

Joe Kitterman, President of 180 Skills said, “We are excited to have Jeff join our team.  As a nationally recognized expert in workforce development, Jeff will help us form strategic partnerships that will address our national skills gap and address critical training needs in high growth, high demand jobs.”

Prior to joining 180 Skills, Jeff was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Ivy Tech Community College. Jeff was instrumental in leading change and innovation at one of the nation’s largest community colleges. He led efforts to build national coalitions to address workforce demands and critical skills gap shortages.  Jeff was also actively involved in national policy development and bringing entrepreneurial innovation to community colleges.

Previously, Jeff was the President of The Milhous Group, LLC a consulting firm specializing in public affairs, crisis management, development, market integration, public relations, and strategic planning.

Filling the Skills Gap

180 Skills Maker offers over 600 competency-based skills courses, 20 Skills Certificate programs and 16 Career Degree programs. Programs of study include Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Safety, CNC Machining, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Composites Manufacturing and Repair, Six Sigma, Nondestructive Examination and Aerospace Manufacturing.
