Bonita Springs Assistance Office installs new officers

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Feb. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – The Bonita Springs Assistance Office, Inc. (BSAO) has announced the installation of new officers to the Board of Directors.

         Billie Porter was installed as Chairwoman. Porter, VP Trust Administrator at Fine Mark National Bank & Trust, has served on the BSAO board for the past three years.

         Bill Banfield will serve as Vice Chair. Banfield, VP Investment Officer at Wells Fargo Advisors, will be starting his second year on the board. Also installed as Treasurer was Steven Kissinger, former Chairman of the BSAO board and executive director of The Immokalee Foundation. Maytee Gomez withValley National Bank will serve a third term as secretary.

         Board members for BSAO also include Arden McCurdy with The Speakers Assembly of Southwest Florida, William Shikany of Shikany Funeral Home, Bob Rosier of Rosier Insurance, Russell Bowles of Russell’s Cookouts & Clambake, Mike Prioletti of Prioletti Murphy Group, Scott Duval of Brennan, Manna and Diamond, Dr. Doug Halsey and Sandy Schreck.

         The Bonita Springs Assistance Office is a 501c3 organization that provides temporary relief to local residents impacted by a financial or personal crisis.  The goal is to foster independence and self-reliance through education and by bridging the financial needs of the recipients.
