Annual Dancing with the World International Folk Dance Festival Leaps its way into South Florida!

Feb. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- The Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center’s Bamachol Dance Department will present its Annual Dancing With the World International Folk Dance Festival, on Sunday, March 13, at 5pm., at the Julius Littman Performing Arts Theater in North Miami Beach.

“This Festival,” according to Bamachol Dance Department Director, Roger Weiger, “was initiated to use the medium of dance to celebrate South Florida’s diversity, while building bridges between different ethnic groups.”

  This year’s Festival will feature the following performing groups:  Ballet Folklorico Aires Panamenos, Brazarte Dance Company, Geeta Dias Bollywood Dance Company, Kirkova Dance Company, Leakah Kulanu, Leakah Yachad, Live in Color, Mosaic Dance Company, Olympus Dance Company, Pegasus Dance Company, and Venezuela Danza y Tambor.
