Train Like The All Blacks – Top New Zealand Rugby Coach Staging Uk Workshops For Aspiring Coaches

Feb. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- Leading New Zealand rugby coach Mike Rogers will stage two workshops in London in the next few weeks to train aspiring young coaches in proven skills development strategies and world class strength and conditioning.

Inside Running coach Rogers will teach participants how to develop their skills and improve the team through player development and how to create more attacking opportunities from unstructured play.

Mike Rogers said: “Both workshops will change how young coaches and their players think about rugby by giving them new skills and techniques which will take their game to the next level and help them adapt in unstructured play situations.

“I have recently returned from Malaysia where I delivered a similar series of workshops to coaches from South-East Asia. Sharing these concepts with coaches proved to be a valuable exercise since it challenged the way that they traditionally coach.

“I hope that the All Blacks winning the 2015 World Cup is a catalyst to change how we deliver as coaches and more importantly, how we think about the game.”

The Inside Running workshops are being run in collaboration with The Athlete Factory, founded by former England rugby player Phil Greening.

Phil Greening added: “We saw at last year’s World Cup how great the current New Zealand side are and anything young coaches can learn from some of the best in the business is certain to improve the standard of play.

“These workshops will help coaches take the game to the next level and provide young players with the skills and knowledge that can benefit the game from grassroots to elite level.”
