Sting! XXII: ES LOG ART... An Evening of Art, Music and Performance at Boston’s Beehive
The Beehive’s 22nd Installment in its Continuing Art Series
By: The Beehive
The Beehive's ongoing Sting! series always signifies the launch of a new art installation at The Beehive. The opening of each exhibition highlights the many facets of The Beehive concept bringing together great live entertainment, delicious food & libation specials along with amazing art! For this 22nd installment, Jennifer Epstein joined forces with Doug Weathersby to curate this one-of-a-kind show.
Since September 4, 2009, the ES LOG has been helping Doug keep track of all there is to do and what there is to see each and every day at ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES. Doug has worked with and for many artists, collectors and art institutions over the life of the ES LOG, thus many artists’ works have been documented in the ES LOG’s “pic of the day.” ES has received a sense of connection, knowledge and energy from its relationships with artists and their work and this collection is meant to celebrate those gifts.
Excerpt from ES LOG July 29, 2015: Helped Brian hang art for Bill and Jennifer. Bill flashed through the scene. Jennifer stuck around. She asked me about my show proposal for The Beehive. Guess I have to do it. I want to do it. It will be work by artists who have been in the ES LOG. The usual suspects. It is nice knowing so many great artists. The show makes itself. Maybe I could make some new friends, too.
