Feb. 23, 2016 - PRLog -- London – 23 February 2016 – A panel of T-shirt Experts at Spreadshirt (http://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/), has chosen UK illustrator ChilliFox (https://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/user/chillifox#/list/U3035138) as the site’s designer of the month for February. ChilliFox’s Sloth t-shirt was also the most successful ‘T-shirt of the Day’, setting a record for t-shirts sold during the platform’s promotion.

Designers chosen each month reflect the ecommerce platform’s love of creative ideas, design skills and styles which can be bought or sold on merchandising.

ChilliFox designs creatures that have surprisingly human traits. She states “I am thrilled to be named Spreadshirt’s designer of the month. I pretty much love all animals, and nature never ceases to fascinate me. I guess it’s inevitable that I depict unusual animals in my designs! The platform’s offering is ideal for me. I have been able to set up an online shop with great ease, letting me focus on my illustrations.”

By awarding this accolade, Spreadshirt wants to encourage current designers and new artists to post their ideas on the site.

Philip Rooke, CEO at Spreadshirt, says, “ChilliFox was selected because she is a great example of what it takes to be a successful online seller. Her shop is constantly updated with new customisable designs, which encourages fans to come back and find out the latest animal to join her collection.” Phil adds, “Spreadshirt’s print-on-demand technology offers designers like ChilliFox a whole new range of merchandising opportunities. There is also the limited initial investment risk, the speed at which a design idea can be up for sale worldwide, the quality of the products and quick delivery times, which ensure a customer-friendly experience, leaving designers to focus on promoting their shops.”
