City of Holly Hill Partners with Local Businesses for Public Private City Beautification Initiative

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Feb. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- The City of Holly Hill and Robin Hanger's Car Shop Trailer Sales have launched the first public private partnership to help keep the City of Holly Hill clean. The project includes a business in Holly Hill ‘adopting’ a trash receptacle with a lid that displays their logo and committing to emptying it on a regular basis.

“We have a bus stop in front of our outdoor trailer showroom that our staff was frequently picking up trash around, so I thought a receptacle right there would be a great idea - and so far it's worked,” said Robin Hanger, owner of Robin Hanger's Car Shop Trailer Sales. “When Robin reached out to us with the idea, we were eager to partner on this city-wide project with our local businesses,” said Joe Forte, City Manager of Holly Hill.

The business pays for their signage and the city pays for the receptacle and installation. So far, five businesses have requested receptacles and the city anticipates the project will rapidly grow.
