Tucson Medical Center Mega Raffle Enters Fourth Year

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Feb. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Tucson Medical Center (TMC) welcomes back its annual Mega Raffle with proceeds dedicated to enhancing programs and services that directly benefit patient care. The 2016 TMC Mega Raffle will once again give away more than 2,000 prizes totaling more than $2 million dollars. Tickets are available for purchase by the public beginning Friday, Feb. 19.

“The raffle is very important to TMC,” said Judy Rich, Tucson Medical Center president and CEO. “Last year’s raffle generated more than $1 million, allowing us to continue to advance our patient care programs for the people of southern Arizona.”

Tickets purchased by March 17 will be eligible to win the two Early Bird prizes. The first is a 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport plus an Italy adventure vacation for two and $16,000 cash. The second includes a vacation to majestic Scotland and 2016 Lexus NX plus $15,500 cash.

Each raffle ticket has a one in 20 chance of winning, including two amazing grand prize packages. This year’s first grand prize includes a 3,000-square-foot A.F. Sterling home located in Bear Canyon, or the winner can take the cash option of $600,000. The second grand prize is $150,000 cash. The raffle will also include 14 of the latest car models, 24 luxury vacation packages for two to some of the most beautiful cities in the world, the latest in electronics, jewelry and more.

“Every year we try to add something even more MEGA than the year before,” said Kathy Rice, executive director and spokesperson for the TMC Mega Raffle. “This year we added more prizes, more cash, more cars, more trips, along with more ways to win, introducing a 50/50 cash raffle for first time.”

The final cut-off for purchasing tickets is Thursday, April 7. Winners of the more than 2,000 prizes will be drawn on April 13.
