Potential Master Chefs Launch New Training Restaurant At Onyx Retail Park

PONTEFRACT, U.K. - Feb. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Dearne Valley College has opened Griffin Grill which will offer diners another high quality eatery with a traditional menu that is created and served by the college’s talented students and apprentices, overseen by a team of industry experienced chefs.

The fully-licensed Griffin Grill joins Marina Fish & Chips, Thai Garden Café, Coffee Street, Yo Yo Noodle, Domino’s Pizza and Subway at the Onyx Retail Park in offering a plethora of delectable dishes which cater for almost any taste.

Griffin Grill’s Front of House Manager and Catering & Hospitality Tutor, Darren Foden, said:  “Opening at the Onyx Retail Park has so far proven a great success and a fantastic learning environment for our students and apprentices. It is a busy, thriving park catering for a huge number of diners thanks to the abundance of businesses in the area. We also see a good number of visitors and families from the nearby residential estates.”

Built by Onward Holdings Ltd on the former Manvers colliery at Wath-Upon-Deane, mid-way between Barnsley and Rotherham, the site boasts an impressive selection of different businesses that have set up shop, encompassing restaurants, fast food chains and retail shopping including leading convenience store SPAR and award-winning Greggs the Baker.
