About The Author

Vivian Chern Shnaidman, MD, is an expert in the application of psychiatry to legal matters. She is known for her appearances as an expert on TV and has provided expert testimony in over fifty published court cases. She is a medical doctor board certified in psychiatry and forensic psychiatry.

In addition to Dr. Shnaidman’s forensic work, she maintains a boutique clinical practice. Her publications include this book, two prior works of fiction, Loosening Of Associations and Homicidal Intent (Random House), and several contributions to periodicals.

Dr. Shnaidman is a graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine and Bryn Mawr College.
