Murray Friedman Wins Hearing on Behalf of Former Employee of Associated Press

The law firm of Imbesi Law P.C. received notification of an award issued in favor of the firm's client. See A.L.J Case No. 015-22502
 
NEW YORK - Feb. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Attorney Murray Friedman, an associate of the law firm Imbesi Law P.C., successfully represented a former employee of the Associated Press.  The Department of Labor issued an initial determination that the firm's client could receive benefits.  The Associated Press appealed the determination and a hearing was held before the Honrabale David Kogelman.

Judge Kogelman issued an award in favor of the firm's client after the hearing was conducted.  The decision in favor of the firm's client sustained the initial determination granting the client benefits.

Specifically, the decision set forth the following:

DECISION: The initial determination is sustained.  The claimant is allowed benefits with respect to the issues decided herein.

Judge Kogelman determined that Mr. Freidman successfully proved that the employee voluntarily left with good cause and was entitled to benefits.
