ORANGE PARK, Fla. - Feb. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Saturday Night Fever’s national tour will be bringing its disco ball and platform shoes to the Jacksonville area on Monday, March 7 and Tuesday, March 8 at 7:30 PM. The show is the third musical to play at the Thrasher-Horne Center this year as part of the new Broadway Orange Park season.

Touring with the production is 2011 Ponte Vedra High School graduate Katie Laduca. She serves as the Dance Captain, Swing, and Understudy for all of the female leads in Saturday Night Fever. Before moving to New York to begin her professional career, Laduca was most recently seen in the area in Orange Park Community Theatre's production of Godspell and First Coast Opera Company's production of Three Penny Opera.

“I’m thrilled to be playing close to home with Saturday Night Fever,” said Laduca. “I'm so excited that my national tour debut is with a show coming to Orange Park!”

Saturday Night Fever brings one of the most beloved dance stories of all time in a spectacular new production. It is the coming of age tale of young Tony Manero who learns the value of life in 1970s Brooklyn. Based on the 1977 movie starring John Travolta, Saturday Night Fever is packed with legendary hits from the Bee Gees, including "Stayin’ Alive," "NightFever," "Jive Talking," "You Should Be Dancing," and "How Deep is Your Love," in addition to several new songs written especially for this production.

Tickets are available through the Box Office at (904) 276- 6815 or online at THcenter.org.

The Thrasher-Horne Center is a not-for profit performing arts venue and conference center owned and operated by St. Johns River State College located on the Orange Park campus at 283 College Drive in Orange Park, Florida.
