Reverie shows the love for Valentine's Day, volunteers for Sweet Dreamzzz, IncOn February 10, Reverie hosted a company volunteer event, “Showing the LOVE for Dixon Academy.” They packed the 330 sleep kits needed for Sweet Dreamzzz, Inc.’s upcoming R.E.M. (Rest. Educate. Motivate.) Sleep Education Program at Dixon Educational Learning Academy, taking place on Tuesday, Feb. 23, in Detroit. Reverie’s Chief Marketing Officer, Lisa Tan, explains how the company’s partnership with Sweet Dreamzzz™ came to be and why it is important for both parties. “We were seeking non-profit partners. We were incredibly impressed by the mission and accomplishments of Sweet Dreamzzz. Our leadership team passionately supports early childhood development, and sleep is a big part of enabling children to be the best they can be,” Tan said. “Partnering with Sweet Dreamzzz gives us the opportunity to support sleep education in an underserved population- children. Instilling healthy sleep habits in children will set them on the right path for healthy living and better learning as they grow.” Reverie Office Manager, Hilary Strasberger, volunteered at the event and really enjoyed her experience. “It was really fun and eye-opening,” Reverie team members folded all 330 nightshirts and then created an assembly line to pack the sleep kits, each with a reading book, Remmy and the Brain Train: Traveling Through the Land of Good Sleep, informational parent letter, Sweet Dreamzzz nightshirt, toothbrush and toothpaste. “One of the most exciting things about the Sweet Dreamzzz-Reverie partnership is being able to introduce our Reverie customers to such a great cause, and to give our team members inspiration through direct interaction with Sweet Dreamzzz and children receiving sleep essentials,” Founded in 1998, Sweet Dreamzzz, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to improving children’s health, well-being and academic performance by providing sleep education and bedtime essentials to economically disadvantaged students and their families.
