National Cinematic Artist to produce a TV series based on the indie film "Rise above the silver and gold" that starred the aunt and cousin of Taraji P. Henson of "Empire". The series is based on a corrupt recording mogul.
 
LOS ANGELES - Feb. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- National Cinematic Artist to produce a TV series based on the indie film "Rise above the silver and gold" that starred the aunt and cousin of Taraji P. Henson of "Empire".  The series is based on a corrupt recording mogul. Rivers is a talent scout for a secret society within the entertainment industry.  The show will be recorded in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland, where shows such as "The Wire", "House of Cards" and "Veep" are filmed.

National Cinematic Artist say's TV series is based on the indie film "Rise above the silver and gold" that starred the aunt and cousin of Taraji P. Henson of "Empire". The series character Darnell Rivers, will rival Terrance Howard's character "Lucious Lyons" in "Empire". The episodes will be an hour long and will have no shortage of nudity and violence. The series is bankrolled by Henson Entertainment and Dreamcore Artist. The series is described as a combination of "Empire", "Power" and "The Five Heartbeats".

NCA is casting fresh new actor's with professional training for the show.  They want to use the show as a platform to introduce new talent as has been the case with shows like "Saturday Night Live" and filmmaker Spike Lee.
