Cancer Survivor John David Schrader releases 4th solo CD “21 Summers” accepted into Recording A

NEW YORK - Feb. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- New York, 1-30-16:  Kingston New York’s own Singer/Songwriter/Multi-instrumentalist John David Schrader finally steps out into the sun and releases his 4th and latest CD “21 Summers!” 2 years in the making with John writing all songs, arranging, recording all instruments and vocals himself (except for his beautiful wife's voice on 3 tracks), 21 Summers is finally here. John describes the songs in the same manner he does all of his CD’s. John says, “they are a snapshot or slices of my life at any given point in time. I write them enigmatically as to allow listeners to put themselves into the songs based on their own feelings.” The CD is filled with lush vocal harmonies and big hooks. John David Schrader was just recently accepted into The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences - The Recording Academy. The Recording Academy is responsible for the Grammy’s.  It was John’s achievements as a songwriter, composer and producer that garnered his acceptance into The Recording Academy. John is now eligible to partake in the voting process, attend The Grammy’s and John will be able to submit his brand new CD “21 Summers” for consideration in the 59th Annual Grammy Awards for 2016. John’s 200+ page presentation to The Recording Academy was called, “One of the most well put together, impressive presentations I have ever seen” by a Recording Academy Representative.

John’s last CD “Daylight Crashing” continues to garner air play on radio across the US and overseas as John prepares to release his 4th CD “21 Summers.” John is an active member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) as well. Daylight Crashing” also earned John a ‘Certified International Top 100’ for his song ‘Shock’ by the International Association of Independent Recording Artists (IAIRA).

The Executive Producer on John’s latest CD is David Mobley (https://www.facebook.com/daviddmobley) from Dallas, Texas. The mixing for 21 Summers took place between NY and Dallas. John engineered and mixed 21 Summers at his studio JLS Sound in Kingston NY. Mixes were traveling back and forth from NY to Dallas and back for tweaking.

John, along with his long time friend and bass player Dennis Styles will soon be looking for new players for the band to showcase John’s material live.
