Rocky calls out Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz

SAN DIEGO - Feb. 12, 2016 - PRLog -- Roque "Rocky" De La Fuente, Democratic candidate for President, spoke out on BPLAN after he finally met DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz at an event after trying to get an appointment with her for months.  Rocky’s campaign has sent Wasserman Schultz and her staff at the DNC registered letters, dozens of email messages and placed dozens of phone calls. All have gone unanswered.

"If the Chairman of the Democratic Party were thinking strategically, she would understand that she should treat every candidate in the primary campaign equally.  She should understand that communicating with a candidate who is registering and energizing Hispanic voters, minority voters and Millenials is good for her party not only in this election cycle but also for growing the party in the future. It is surprising to me that my party, which prides itself on being the Big Tent party, has turned out to be one where no minorities need apply,” said De La Fuente.
