Shamrock Financial Corporation Welcomes Ellen Connors as New Senior Mortgage Loan Originator

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - March 2, 2016 - PRLog -- Shamrock Financial Corporation is pleased to announce that Ellen Connors has joined the organization as a Senior Mortgage Loan Originator. Ellen is based at their main office in Rumford, Rhode Island.

Ellen comes to Shamrock Financial with over 35 years of experience in Residential Mortgage Lending and Banking, with a strong focus on Reverse Mortgage Programs. She has worked with retirement age people as an educator and trusted advisor to assist them in using their home equity as part of their retirement planning. Previously, Ellen has held positions as a Regional Operations Manager, Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer, and Consultant, and brings her extensive knowledge to Shamrock Financial.

Ellen stated, “I have spent my entire career in the mortgage industry. I am excited to apply my experience and skills in a strong yet family-oriented business such as Shamrock.”

In her role at Shamrock Financial, Ellen will be responsible for building solid professional relationships to foster mortgage lending. Specifically, she will analyze clients’ financial needs on a continual basis as well as understand, determine, and explain loan programs and financing option to her clients. Finally, Ellen will use her knowledge and experience to assist both new and existing home owners of residential properties with buying or refinancing their homes, with an emphasis on reverse mortgages.

Ellen graduated from Simmons Graduate School of Management and earned her Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional designation. In her off time, Ellen enjoys exploring Cape Cod, trying new restaurants, and walking her dog.
