By: Plant Therapy The senior center had been facing a shortage of funds, primarily due to an increase in demand for its Meals on Wheels home delivery service for local seniors. Plant Therapy President Chris Jones learned of the center’s budget woes while watching a segment on the local news. Since the founding of Plant Therapy in 2011, the company, its owners and employees have made giving back to the community a priority. When Jones heard about the struggles of the Twin Falls Senior Center, he knew he wanted to make a donation to help the center continue to meet the needs of local seniors. “Our business is successful because our community has supported us. It’s a pleasure to give back to organizations like the Twin Falls Senior Center, which provides wonderful services to our city. We are grateful to be in a position to help,” said Jones. The Twin Falls Senior Center Meals on Wheels program provided nearly 43,000 hot meals to homebound senior citizens in 2015.
