The bike’s power really impresses. The twist-and-go throttle and Pedal Assist computer offer choices in ways to unleash the Latch’s power. Pedal Assist allows riders to feel like a kid again as they pedal with automatic power. The Latch boasts a rugged electric motor that helps riders conquer hills and zip through headwinds — spectacularly responsive to its powerful 36-volt battery. The Latch uses a full-sized Pedego lithium ion battery that gives it the torque and range of all other Pedego models.  As well, the battery can be interchanged with other Pedego models, making it a welcome addition to the Pedego collection.

Its belt drive system provides a seamless, quiet ride with no messy chain grease. The bike's internally geared hub allows riders to enjoy smooth shifting — even at a complete stop. Riders can pedal or not and have fun while controlling their exercise.
