CLEARWATER, Fla. - Feb. 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Marcelo Parravicini, a seasoned executive with almost two decades of marketing and operational experience, has joined the Digital Media Solutions (DMS) Group as chief marketing officer and executive vice president of education partnerships. In this newly created role, Parravicini will unite the growing number of DMS business units under one umbrella to position DMS as the thought leader for data-based, full-service marketing and technology solutions.

Parravicini’s experience includes work in all areas of business and institutional management including strategic planning, marketing and communications, product development, organizational re-alignment, change management, systems integration and more. Parravicini brings a wealth of higher education experience, having held CMO positions at Post University and ECPI University. Most recently, Parravicini founded Cygnus Marketing Communications, a consultancy offering services to assist institutions position their educational offerings and formulate operational strategies that directly impact student recruitment, enrollment growth and retention.

Leveraging his deep knowledge of the education industry, Parravicini is actively expanding services available to the DMS and Sparkroom client bases, including a newly announced enrollment management consultancy service offered through the recently acquired Sparkroom. “From my 12 years in education, I understand the challenges of building and scaling integrated enrollment management organizations,” explained Parravicini. “This ‘client-side’ perspective has been invaluable as I’ve continued to work with marketers and admissions professionals, and I look forward to helping more schools achieve their goals.”
