Kent State University College of Business Administration to hold Executive MBA Information SessionBy: Kent State College of Business Administration The information session will provide an overview of the curriculum, admission criteria, application process and review the new Executive MBA program format and schedule that includes once-a-month, onsite classes and online content comprised of discussions and pre-recorded lectures. Faculty, current students and program administrators will be present to answer questions and provide personal insight to future students. The AACSB accredited Executive MBA program is structured to accommodate seasoned business professionals who can bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom. It offers small class sizes and an international business trip experience that provides an invaluable global business perspective. "The Executive MBA program at Kent State now combines the added convenience of monthly class meetings with an outstanding quality education that has been consistently ranked as Tier One by CEO Magazine and AACSB accredited for decades,” said Laurie Walker, Executive MBA program director at the College of Business Administration. Consisting mainly of required courses in the various business disciplines, the Executive MBA program is comprehensive, yet concise. The course schedule is accelerated while still allowing students to experience a program of full depth and value. The program can be completed in as few as 19 months (32 credit hours) while one maintains full-time working hours. The program maintains a structure that is convenient for everybody; built around Saturday and Sunday onsite classes and online content to ensure that anyone can make it work. Limited class sizes allow an interactive and participative classroom environment. The Executive MBA program offers every student the opportunity to attend an international business trip that provides a valuable global perspective. The trip is a one-hour credit course in which each Executive MBA cohort has the opportunity to travel abroad under the leadership of two faculty members. The trip typically takes place in May of the first year of the program and lasts about 12 days. It is a unique learning experience in which students are exposed firsthand to the country’s culture and the business practices of companies that operate internationally.
