EASTON, Pa. - Feb. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- The partnership between Boys & Girls Club of Easton and That Family Guy, Gary Lee Eckley, began last year when Eckley was invited to be a candidate in the Club's annual "Kiss-A-Cow" fundraising event. The event invited six local "celebrities" to compete against each other and raise the most amount of money for the Club! When the fundraiser came to an end on October 24th, 2015, That Family Guy was announced winner and received the privilege to Kiss the Cow at Klein Farm in Forks Township! "Kiss-A-Cow" raised a total of $17,000.00 for the Club in 2015, and of that, Gary Lee raised $9,915!

In January 2016, the Boys & Girls Club of Easton welcomed Gary Lee to their Clubhouse facility on Easton's South Side, with the fabulous Whip Nae Nae dance. Alison Pickel, the Club's Board President and 2014 "Kiss-A-Cow" Winner, presented Eckley with a very unique trophy that is now proudly on display at Brown Daub Kia. Dean Young, Executive Director at the Boys & Girls Club of Easton, and the Club kids swarmed around Eckley and gave him a tour of the Clubhouse. The youth were so excited and proud that That Family Guy had come to visit! Amazed by the Club's warm welcome, the commitment to the children and the developmental and fun programs and activities on hand, Gary couldn't help but immediately want to team up with the Club and establish a long lasting relationship. Eckley has already committed to this year's 2016 "Kiss-A-Cow" event and his goal is to raise over $20,000.00! The final "Kiss" will be held on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016.

On March 8th from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm, Eckley has invited the Boys & Girls Club of Easton to Brown Daub Kia for a tour of his facility and to tell them the story of how he got to where he is today! It is the perfect time for Club kids to visit, being that it is in National Boys & Girls Club Week, which takes place March 7th - 12th. This is a time when over 3,700 Boys & Girls Clubs around the country reach out to their communities to share the impact the Club movement has on America's youth. "The Club raises awareness of their unique services, activities, volunteer opportunities and more", says Young. Each year the Boys & Girls Club of Easton serves over 750 youth from the community with diverse programs, activities and mentoring.

The Brown Daub Kia Family could not be more excited to host some of these Club children on March 8th! Eckley will also be accompanied by 96.1 CAT COUNTRY and some of the youth will be able to broadcast live on the radio from the dealership, sharing their mission and energy!
