Purk & Associates, P.C., Expands Audit Team with Stephen Berrier, CPA, and Stephen Kohler

ST. LOUIS - Feb. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- February 8, 2016, (St. Louis) – Purk & Associates, P.C., the leading St. Louis-based independently owned accounting and management consulting firm, announced today that Stephen Berrier, CPA, joined as a Senior Associate, and Stephen Kohler joined as an Associate in the firm’s Audit division.

Prior to joining Purk & Associates, Berrier worked for an accounting firm in Georgia where he managed a team that performed field audits of federally funded housing agencies to ensure fair presentation of financial statements as well as compliance with federal, state and local laws and grant agreements.  He graduated with a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Georgia, and has completed a number of accounting and business courses through Liberty University.

Kohler graduated with a bachelor of science with a double major in accounting and business administration, and a concentration in Management Information Systems (MIS), and a master of business administration from William Woods University located in Fulton, MO. He played for the William Woods University baseball team and held a number of student leadership roles. Prior to joining Purk & Associates, Kohler worked as an accounting / MIS intern for an Illinois-based company.
