Snell & Wilmer Attorney Finalist For CCIM Excellence Award

SALT LAKE CITY - Feb. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that attorney Elizabeth (Leeza) Evensen is a finalist in the Real Estate Attorney of the Year category for the CCIM Utah Excellence Award. The award is granted each year in recognition of outstanding professionals, exemplifying the highest degree of business excellence in Utah’s commercial real estate industry.

A panel of 75 to 80 judges comprised of local real estate professionals, government economic individuals and business owners selected the finalists in an extensive review process based upon a set of established criteria. The award recipient will be announced at the CCIM award’s ceremony on March 19, 2016.

The CCIM designation, or Certified Commercial Investment Member, is a premier commercial real estate certification that requires 100+ hours of training and an investment of about $16,000 per individual. The Utah CCIM Chapter created the Utah CCIM Excellence Awards, to recognize the accomplishments of outstanding men and women who exemplify the highest degree of business excellence in the commercial real estate industry in Utah.

Evensen is a partner in Snell & Wilmer’s real estate group. Her practice is concentrated in real estate law, focusing on hotel, resort, retail, condominium, office, and other commercial real estate development and disposition; office/retail leasing; zoning and land use; partnerships and joint ventures; construction; real estate workouts; real estate financing; and general commercial and corporate transactions. Evensen has a special expertise in the acquisition, development, construction and financing of public charter and private school facilities. Her experience includes representing real estate developers, ski resorts, landowners, real estate investment trusts (REITs), financial institutions and governmental agencies. Evensen received her J.D. from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney College of Law.
