“Hopelessly Devoted to Youth” Sixth Annual Hearts and “Soles” Benefit Dinner

By: AACY

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Feb. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Grease is the theme of the Sixth Annual Hearts and “Soles” dinner dance to be held at the Broken Sound Club on Saturday, February 27th with an entertaining and surprise-filled reception beginning at 6:30.  Classic cars of the Grease era will be on display.

Caregiving youth, children who fill adult-sized shoes as they academically and personally sacrifice to provide care for ill, injured, elderly or disabled family members, are the beneficiaries of this event.  The American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY) which has served over 1,000 middle and high school students, is proud to have Sue and Yaacov Heller serving as Honorary Chairs. They are joined by Co-Chairs Debralyn and Ronnie Belletieri.

Yaacov Heller is a globally recognized and acclaimed Sculptor, Artist, and Jewelry Designer of Gallery 22 in Royal Palm in Boca Raton. Sue is also an artist and retired art teacher of The School District of Palm Beach County.  The Belletieri’s are business entrepreneurs and owners of Strikes of Boca, the City’s popular and only bowling facility.

AACY has raised national awareness about the otherwise hidden, unserved and growing population of children who serve as family caregivers.  With support in school, out of school and at home from sixth through twelfth grades, children learn they are no longer alone, remain in school and graduate, often entering careers in healthcare.

The $175 event ticket includes a reception, open bar, multi-course dinner, dancing, music, wine wall, and silent auction. Grease dress is optional; fun is not optional! A special drawing will be held for tickets to the Aretha Franklin concert on April 5th.
