Misrepresentation of Patent Position by Cascade Drilling, L.P.

PIPERSVILLE, Pa. - Feb. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- In a January 11, 2016 press release Cascade Technical Services misrepresented their patent position with the statement:

“Cascade is the only environmental services company to offer patented, leading edge technology with a wide range of in situ remediation technologies and field services for the cost effective cleanup of contaminated soil and groundwater.” - Cascade Press Release

Numerous contractors provide patented processes and technologies, including:  RedOx Technologies, Orin Technologies, AST Environmental, Regenesis Remediation Services and Innovative Environmental Technologies, Inc. (IET).

(IET), has focused on the development and implementation of proven, patented technologies.  With 9 issued patents and 5 pending, the statement made by Cascade in their press release is not only misleading, it is blatantly incorrect,” says Michael Scalzi, President of IET.

As a relative newcomer to the remedial services industries, Cascade Drilling, should value the friendly, respectful and healthy competition that has been characteristic in the industry for more than a decade.  All environmental contractors welcome the introduction of new and innovative technologies, these innovations push all of us to be better and seek new solutions to environmental issues.  However, to represent themselves as the ONLY contractor with US patents is wholly false and misrepresents the efforts all contractors have made to introduce more effective processes.
