Worsley Plant Provide Rotar Cleaner To Solve 17 Year ProblemCheshire based Worsley Plant helped on company solve a 17 year business problem and helped them turn their problem into cash.
By: worsley plant A local construction company had a long term problem with waste accumulating from construction works. The waste was a mixture of bricks, lumps of concrete, smaller stones and other aggregate mixed in with heavy clay soil. The company had equipment to separate out large items such as brick, but the remaining waste was proving a problem. With landfill costs high, the remaining waste was building up in the yard and causing a problem. Help came in the form of a Rotar Cleaner from Worsley Plant seen in action at an exhibition where one of the uses demonstrated by the rotating bucket was aggregate washing. Suddenly realising they had stumbled on a possible solution to their muddy waste, a demonstration machine was soon on its way to the customer. It proved so effective that it never left, and after a two week hire, it was purchased outright. The solution was to wash the rock filled sludge and separate out the mud from the aggregate. Aggregate of different grades was separated out providing a saleable product, and turning the waste problem into cash. The resulting soil that was left could then be used as back fill. A solution that transformed a growing pile of sludge into saleable aggregate, usable soil and removed an environmental issue.
