PORTLAND, Ore. - Feb. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Sunset High School's theater department presents Monty Python's Spamalot, a modern musical comedy “lovingly ripped off from the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” Under the direction of Sunset’s theater director James Farmer and music director Christopher Rust, and by special arrangement with TRW: Theatrical Rights Worldwide, Spamalot opens on March 3 with additional performances on March 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12. All shows start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are now available for online purchase at http://shstheatre.yolasite.com/upcoming-productions.

About the Show
Monty Python stalwart Eric Idle and composer John Du Prez have adapted the classic film Monty Python and the Holy Grail into a musical featuring the Knights Who Say Ni, killer rabbits, accused witches and other Python touches. Spamalot adds swipes at Vegas glitz and Broadway conventions to the film's anarchic spirit. Sunset’s Spamalot joins the prominent shows being performed in the Beaverton School District this spring, such as Beaverton - Grease, Aloha - Cinderella and Jesuit - Legally Blonde. Always pushing the boundaries, Sunset is the first Northwest high school to perform the musical comedy Spamalot.
