Official AML Wrestling Results For 1/30/16 Event
AML Wrestling LIVE! kicked off season 2 in a new venue that was standing room only and a surprising ending to the evening. Here are the official results courtesy of Scott Eiland.
By: WrestleCade Entertainment
In the first of two dark matches, Daisy Day defeated Savannah Evans after a hurricanrana.
In a three-on-two handicap match, T-Rex and JR Reynolds beat Randall Eaton and Gladiators I and II after T-Rex chokeslammed Gladiator II.
Main Show Results:
Team Axcellence (Axton Ray and Mr. Excellence Brandon Scott) beat The Dixon Line (Ken Dixon, Joey Keys) in a hard-fought seesaw tag match that ended when Brandon Scott pinned Joey Keys after a blockbuster.
In a return grudge match, Zane Dawson (with George South) again cheated to beat Damien Wayne, this time cradling the Mid Atlantic Badass with his feet on the middle rope.
The Washington Bullets (Jon and Trey Williams) beat the George South Guys (Baron Bullard and Dee Mack) when George South’s attempts to interfere backfired, as he accidentally struck Baron Bullard with the brass knuckles he intended to use on Jon Williams. Baron was subsequently pinned. After the match both Bullard and Mack apparently ended their affiliation with South, as his clear favoritism toward Zane Dawson seemed to convince both Bullard and Mack to strike out on their own, in spite of South’s fervent pleas that both men remain in the fold. Afterwards, Dawson asked George to team with him against Bullard and Dee Mack February 27 in High Point. Stay tuned for developments!
Shawn Schultz defeated Steve Anthony after 15 minutes of hard fought action. Schultz gained the pinfall after surprising Anthony with an inside cradle.
Tommy Thomas then came to the ring and announced an open challenge match for Cedric Alexander. The man who took the challenge was none other than former Paragon Heavyweight Champion Caleb Konley.
Cedric Alexander beat Caleb Konley after 20 minutes of brutal back and forth action. Tommy Thomas interfered long enough to distract Konley. When Konley was distracted, Cedric hit him with the lumbar check and pinned him. While his AML debut wasn’t victorious, fans supported Konley from bell to bell and gave him a nice hand after the match.
Caprice Coleman defeated “The Ring Wrecker” Vordell Walker by disqualification when referee Jeff Bunton reversed his decision that would have awarded a tainted victory to Walker. Walker gained a pinfall after hitting the former AML titleholder with a foreign object, but the official found the foreign object in Walker’s hand, prompting him to award the DQ victory to Coleman.
In the main event, King Shane Williams (with Queen Taylor) beat AML Wrestling Champion “Greek God” Papadon by disqualification when Vordell Walker interfered on Papadon’s behalf, attacking King Shane AND Queen Taylor, even tying the queen to the top rope while he proceeded to beat down the #1 contender. When officials flooded the ring, Walker attacked them all, including AML General Manager Brian Hawks. As the carnage settled, an emotional and angry AML Owner Tracy Myers took the house mic and announced that Vordell Walker was FIRED.
