Divine Voice Magazine Partners With Artist Tasha Page-Lockhart & Expands Executive Staff For 2016

The Christian lifestyle publication announces partnerships with bridal giant Alfred Angelo, HBCU schools, launches new imprint called Crownz, and names gospel singer Tasha Page- Lockhart as its Official Brand Ambassador.

ATLANTA - Feb. 2, 2016 - PRLog -- Divine Voice Magazine, Atlanta’s newest Christian lifestyle publication kicks off 2016 with expansion and strategic partnerships. Formerly Divine Voice Newspaper that was based in Macon, Georgia; Publisher Lyanta Tomlin took a leap of faith, and decided to moved back to Atlanta in 2014  turning the newspaper into a magazine. Since then the magazine has acquired national distribution through the Books a Million chain with over 17,000 subscribers that receive the bi-monthly periodical in their homes or place of business. "Navigating the change from a newspaper to full magazine has not come without its challenges, but my team and I are ready for the task at hand," says Tomlin.

Tomlin has firmly placed the magazine in the forefront of the publishing industry by garnering covers with celebrities like David and Tamela Mann, Rev. Run and his wife Justine Simmons, gospel music superstar J. Moss, Preachers of LA Senior Pastor Wayne Chaney and his wife Myesha Chaney. Actress/Director Kim Fields of Real Housewives of Atlanta, will grace the March cover.  Tomlin has expanded the executive staff of the magazine to include General Manager Matt Ables, manager of gospel singer Tasha Page- Lockhart, and syndicated gospel radio host Willie A. Moore Jr; Director of Branding/Media Relations Rahru R. Arceneaux, Brand Strategist and Owner of PR firm Haute Choc’lat Multimedia Group, and Author Acquisitions Joy TJ Riley. The Divine Voice Brand is also launching a new imprint titled Crownz, whose demographic is young men and women ages 18-35. Crownz launches in March of 2016 with multi-talented Gospel superstar Canton Jones on the cover. The new imprint appeals to a younger generation in the areas of inspirational holy hip-hop, fashion, comedy, spoken word, education, and technology.

Divine Voice has forged strategic relationships in the entertainment industry and the education field. The magazine has provided coverage for Bounce TV, Oxygen, Bravo,The Stellar Awards, and the BMI Trailblazer Awards. The magazine has also partnered with bridal giant Alfred Angelo to give away a wedding dress worth $1400.00 starting in the March issue. The partnership with Historically Black Colleges and Universities is one partnerships the magazine is excited about. Consistently this demographic has been overlooked by the publishing industry. In each issue Divine Voice will provide a place where the voices of our future can be heard. Contributions will come directly from the college students in the areas of academics, economics, politics, and technology.
