2016 Girl Power! Women Working In The Music Industry Conference To Debut The Artist Lounge

SAN FRANCISCO - Jan. 30, 2016 - PRLog -- The 2016 Girl Power! Women working in the Music Industry Conference will feature a new segment to the event to facilitate the career success of female music artists.

This new component, referred to as "The Artist Lounge," was created and designed to provide professional development, collaboration and networking opportunities for the creative demographic of singers, musicians, songwriters, and producers who may not benefit directly from the educational offerings of the Girl Power Conference, but can certainly benefit indirectly from the confluence of resources that the event provides.

The Artist Lounge is technically a break-out session that runs concurrently with the Girl Power Conference, which is held in a separate room.

The Artist Lounge is a value added segment of the Girl Power Conference, and has its own agenda, activities, and admission fee. Guest appearances by established music industry professionals (from the creative and business side) will take place throughout the day.

"We are excited about The Artist Lounge," says Gian Fiero, co-producer of Girl Power. "It's proof of our commitment to empower and elevate women in both the professional and creative realms of the music industry."

Kerry Fiero (lead organizer of Girl Power) and Gian Fiero are no stranger to facilitating success for music artists in the Bay Area. As producers of The 2007 Strive For More Music Showcase featured in Billboard Magazine, they launched the careers of vocalists Kehlani and Rozzi Crane. For over 20 years Kerry and Gian have played integral roles in supporting the careers and successes of music artists in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. The Artist Lounge will be a continuation of those efforts.

The 3rd Annual Girl Power! Women Working in the Music Industry Conference takes place on April 16, 2016 (10am-4pm) at the San Francisco State University downtown campus at 835 Market St., 6th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103.
