Reliance Entertainment Goes French with NOmber One

NEW DELHI - Jan. 27, 2016 - PRLog -- Anil Ambani led Reliance Entertainment are set to be involved with yet another international venture by co-producing Serge Hazanavicius directed film “nOmber One,” with Julie Gayet’s Rogue International and Elisa Soussan’s myFamily.

The much beloved French actor Kev Adams, who began his acting career at 7 through theatre, has been cast in the lead role and would look to follow suit of his recent successes Les Profs 2 and Les Nouvelles Aventures

“nOmber One” tells story of a talented youngster’s ascent in a world maddened by commerce deals. The narrative portrays a father-son relationship which is founded on a similar zeal for adventure but is deteriorated with time. As the story unfolds, they get back together thanks to their common love for snow. The gist is that love always wins and that true dreamers always prevail.

Serge Hazanavicius is the brother of Michel Hazanavicius, the man behind the acclaimed film The Artist which won 5 Oscars. He has acted in 70 films both French and international, has written and directed a lot of plays and is set to direct “nOmber One” after co-writing it with Stephane Dan, Mary-Noelle Dana and Alexis Galmot. Apart from that, Serge is bit of an adventurer himself, having skied on numerous slopes across Asia and Europe.

Stephane Dan is a mountain guide, climber, crystal hunter and a professional skier. He has had a terrific career, where he has worked on 100 films concerning skiing and board sports, highlight being the James Bond film, “The World is Not Enough.”

Elis Soussan, who is the manager of Kev Adams, previous worked as a lawyer in the entertainment industry. She became Adam’s manager after seeing him at a one man show contest and the partnership has since worked on two one man shows, The Young Man and Voila, Voila, the TV show Soda and a feature film, Fiston, which launched Soussan and Adam’s production company myFamily.

Julie Gayet, who began her career as an actress, founded her production company, Rogue International in 2007 with Nadia Turincev and has produced films like Fix Me by Raed Andoni of Palestine, and Bonsai by Christian Jiminez of Chile.

Reliance Entertainment, which is a part of Anil Ambani led Reliance Group, co-produced Steven Spielberg’s thriller “Bridge of Spies”, which received immensely positive reviews and ended up with 6 nominations at the Oscars.

The film would be shot extensively in March/ April 2016 on the skiing slopes in the Himalayas with the principal photography set to begin as early as February 2016 in France.
