Author Obbie Hagen has updated her first book of poetry, which contained 38 poems, to a new edition by the same title. But this time around, there are 100 poems. Each poem tells an intriguing story and echoes diverse life experiences.

Some of the 100 poems reflect the joys of life, while others describe the painful experiences faced due to disappointments or rejection. Some poems show that change is inevitable, and that wisdom is needed to accept and deal with change.

About the Author: Obbie Hagen was raised in Selibe-Phikwe, a copper/nickel mining town in central Botswana. After her national service in 1998, she worked for a property investment company as a secretary and accounts clerk. The same year, her first poem “Desire” was published in a local magazine. The author studied for her diploma in journalism and short story writing through an international U.S. correspondence college. She received her bachelor of arts in communication at North-West University in South Africa. In 2004, her first collection of poetry was published. She is now an entrepreneur and lives with her own family in Selibe-Phikwe.
