ProEx Physical Therapy promotes Allison Stringer to Regional Clinical Director

WOBURN, Mass. - Jan. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- ProEx, a physical therapist owned private practice specializing in orthopedics, spine and sports medicine is proud to announce that Allison Stringer, MS, PT, Fellow AAOMPT of North Reading, Massachusetts has been promoted to Regional Clinical Director for the firm’s Woburn, Middleton and North Andover locations.

Stringer joined ProEx in January of 2013 as Clinic Manager of the practice’s Woburn location; she will continue in this capacity in her expanded role.

Originally from Woburn, Stringer is well-known throughout the region.  A former professional figure skating instructor, she has worked with figure skaters and hockey players on and off the ice for more than 25 years.

Stringer is presently the Physical Therapist for North Reading School of Ballet.  Formerly, she was the team Physical Therapist for the National and International Champions Hayden Synchronized Skating Teams.

Stringer, who graduated from Woburn High School and then went to Simmons College and earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.

She is a member of the Sports Medicine Society of the USFSA and the Professional Skaters Association and also belongs to the North Shore Skating Club in Reading.

Stringer has written articles on Sports Medicine for Skating Magazine and Professional Skaters Magazine and has been a guest lecturer on Strength Training and Injury Prevention at GymStreet USA in Wilmington, the Professional Skaters Association and US Figure Skating Regional Training Camps.
