Unique Kit Car Display comes to Winter Florida AutoFest in Lakeland
Vaydor Exotics of Pinellas Park on Display throughout the Weekend
By: Michael E Garland Jr
What’s a Vaydor car? Well, it’s as much of a real thing as it isn’t. What that means is that no major automotive company is producing the Vaydor, rather a local businessman in Pinellas Park has used years of experience and natural skill to craft the Vaydor, making it a very unique and exotic kit car. Kit cars are exactly what the word indicates, a kit. While they are built by hand from pre-fabricated pieces and parts, they are just as much of an actual car as any seen on I-4 each day. What makes them different is the unique look from each hand crafted kit.
The reality is, Florida has no shortage of classic, exotic and collector cars on its roads or in the collections of its residents. With the Vaydor, anyone can own an exotic without breaking the bank. These cool cars are designed by Matt McEntegart. His Vaydor Exotics offers body kits designed for conversion for the 2003-06 Infiniti G35 Coupe. This is a “home build-able,”
“I’ve always enjoyed working on cars and feel like I have a mind for the unique and rare,” said McEntegart. “To be able to make the unattainable dream a reality for fans of the Vaydor concept is very rewarding to me. I look forward to showcasing these great cars in Lakeland at Winter AutoFest and I invite everyone to stop by to ask me about them. Owning a Vaydor is more affordable than most would think, so stop by and say hi!”
Finally, if seeing a Vaydor in person at Winter AutoFest in Lakeland doesn’t sell would be buyers on the concept, the summer months and an upcoming August happening will do so for sure. Plus, by the time August comes and goes, McEntegart just might be a bit busy building more Vaydors to meet anticipated demand.
