Health-improving, feature-packed light bulb SVET was unveiled at CES 2016

SVET is a versatile light bulb that outputs high-quality light on par with natural sunlight. The light bulb is designed to introduce an unparalleled level of health safety and functionality to home and office lighting.

One of the key features of the appliance is its ability to closely replicate natural light properties, tuning the luminous flux in accordance with sunlight dynamics. For example, SVET will automatically soften the lighting towards evening hours, emulating the sunset and promoting relaxation, while the morning light will be rendered harder and colder. Such light behavior is very beneficial for the body’s biological clock – adherence to the natural light day is known to improve general physical and mental state, as well as reduce stress.

Sporting state-of-the-art LEDs, amicroprocessor and a bluetooth module, the light bulb can be used as a plug-and-forget source of light, or set up through the iOS and Android-compatible companion app. Among other functions, SVET offers a variety of presets for different activities. Depending on the selected preset and time of day, SVET will fine-tune your current lighting for maximum work performance, comfort or relaxation.

The basic light output of a SVET light bulb is 1000 lm, which is equivalent to 85 W of incandescent light. The light is full-spectrum (CRI 90-96), completely flicker-free and has a wide color temperature range (2000-8000K). This amounts to the light being close to natural sunlight and completely safe for the eyes.
