They were heading into a new stage of life with their three daughters growing up and the oldest, Haylee, heading off to college. “The girls and I went out to look at the model homes,” Marti said. “My oldest daughter, Haylee, is 20 and my other daughters are 17 and 14. “We decided that this is where we wanted to be with Haylee being in the Next Gen® so that she can go to college and still have her independence,” said Marti.

For Haylee, having her own private space in the Next Gen® suite is all about independence and privacy. “I love being able to come and go as I please,” Haylee said. “I have my own front door and a side gate as well. My friends can come over and they don’t have to come through the house at all, they can just walk right into mine. Plus, I also have my own garage door.”

Haylee continued to say she loves her home within a home. “I love the privacy. I love that I have my own living room, two bedrooms and a patio -- and it is very spacious. Everything is laid out where you have your own space.”

The Tanner’s Next Gen® floorplan offers a private suite, including a separate entrance, living room/kitchenette, laundry area, two bedrooms and bathroom. Haylee said she knows her parents enjoy the Next Gen® home as well, because it means the family can stay together. “My parents love being here. They say I can stay as long as I need to! I’m actually the one that told them if I do get married, I would like to stay here at first. Then I can build my income and be able to move out when I need to.”

Marti mentioned that she loves all the features of the home, especially the kitchen. “I haven’t had a kitchen like this one ever,” she said. “It’s huge and I am be able to cook with my girls and enjoy a family meal. We have a Sunday meal together and a chance to sit around the counter and have a great time!”
