Justin Massoni Named Director of Sales & Ops for Leading Small Ship Cruise Expert, AdventureSmith

TAHOE CITY, Calif. - Jan. 21, 2016 - PRLog -- TAHOE CITY, CA,  – Justin Massoni was recently named Director of Sales & Operations for small ship cruise expert AdventureSmith Explorations (http://www.adventuresmithexplorations.com).

He will be in charge of all aspects of customer sales/service and destination product operations while managing the company’s team of Adventure Specialists from company headquarters in Tahoe City, CA.

“Over 20 years ago Justin and I began our Alaska careers working at a remote lodge near Glacier Bay National Park,” explains AdventureSmith’s founder and President Todd Smith. “His small ship and wilderness lodge operations experience lends itself perfectly to our unique style of travel. Justin has traveled the world over and will put that knowledge to work developing exciting new programs. His skill set and demeanor are a perfect fit to lead our team of Adventure Specialists and I am thrilled to work with him once again, after all these years.”

Before joining AdventureSmith Explorations (http://www.adventuresmithexplorations.com/) Massoni spent the past 20 years living and working in Alaska. From the fjords of the Southeast and the verdant islands of the Gulf to the Arctic Interior and the High Alaska Range, he has developed a love for the varied landscapes of the Great Land. Working as a remote projects manager for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and Denali National Park, he led natural resource management projects in some of Alaska’s wildest country.

Justin also gained valuable tourism experience as an operations manager for a small ship expedition cruise company. He was instrumental in developing and managing land operations in both Southeast Alaska and the Sea of Cortez.

His lifelong love of adventure travel has taken him to many corners of the globe. Whether it’s communing with mountain gorillas in Uganda, getting “stranded” on remote Belizean atolls, exploring the rivers and diving the reefs of Borneo, wandering the wild landscapes of New Zealand, skijoring across the Arctic Circle or trekking the deserts of Jordan, Justin has a passion for adventure and an insatiable appetite for learning through exploration.
