PHOENIX - Jan. 20, 2016 - PRLog -- Phoenix, AZ – Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) is excited to announce the 7th annual 40 to Phoenix event! GWRRA looks forward each year to have this opportunity to meet each of their Members and show their appreciation by hosting this event.  This event is Member-driven, with the GWRRA Members riding across the county along I-40 to arrive in Phoenix,so they can say they have been to the Home Office. Last year the group checked in with 165 motorcycles, and 250 Members! The GWRRA Members are getting ready for the ride and getting excited; and are looking forward to a bigger and better year!

This 10 day ride, beginning on April 6th, 2016, covers the breadth of the United States, including twelve states, four regions and two countries.  The ride starts in Wilmington, North Carolina and ends in Chula Vista, California with plenty of stops along the way, including a short ride across the U.S. border into Mexico and back.

As part of the journey across the United States, the group stops to visit the GWRRA Home Office in Phoenix, Arizona.  The Home Office visit includes, guided tours, door prizes, games, and short scenic rides around the state.  There will also be seminars that will cover important topics like Motorist Awareness and Rider Education, teaching riders on what to watch out for when they are on the road so everyone is safe.
