NEW YORK - Jan. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- Work by Artist Anne Nunez Zeygerman was chosen by a jury to represent Winter Film Awards’ 5th Annual Independent Film Festival to take place February 18-27 in New York City. The Competition was hosted by artist and professor Viktor Koen in association with the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Winter Film Awards is pleased to announce that the Official Festival Poster artwork for the upcoming 2016 Indie Film Festival was designed by artist Anne Nunez Zeygerman from Jackson Heights NY. A competition for best design was hosted by renowned artist and Professor Viktor Koen in his Designer as Image Maker Graphic Design Department NYC course at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

From the cave wall to the computer screen, the desire to communicate one’s unique vision has always existed. A great concept combined with the right technique, be it finger painting or Adobe Photoshop, can produce extremely powerful images. Students are encouraged to think and create in unconventional ways. Collaborating with the Winter Film Awards is an opportunity offered in the class and connects talented and motivated artists with their prospective client base, while helping them produce exceptional published portfolio pieces. Mr. Koen’s sharp focus on teaching concept development and methodology produced a number of exceptional poster ideas for the Festival to consider, making the selection process both exciting and difficult. However, Ms. Zeygerman’ overall composition and sense of color best crystallized the spirit of the Festival.
