New Software Training & Development Firm Coming To Lansing, MI

LANSING, Mich. - Jan. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- A local entrepreneur, creative programming specialist and developer has announced the formation of a new web development, consulting and training firm to start in February. The new company will be known as Coders Farm, LLC.

The manager of the new firm, Kamron Kennedy, is lead developer, technical architect, project manager and business analyst who has been developing web applications for the past 10 years. He has worked for Lansing Community College, Michigan State University, IBM and Liquid Web. He has also done teaching and tutoring during his career and is a registered developer with many of the popular platforms we all use today. He also has numerous publications in app stores and online.

Kamron stated that he is, "looking at taking my freelancing career to the next level and starting my own development company. I have many projects, in many languages. With that being said though, the following languages and technologies will be known of prior to, or learned after hire: Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, and many more."

Though he prefers to bring people on board who have some programming aptitude or experience, he said that, "Any experience or education is not required, but will be taken note of. You will be coding projects that either I own, or I am being contracted to work on. Everyone will start on projects I own. Contracted projects can be worked towards and will equate to raises in pay after the contractee has approved your skill level." All applicants for the program will be given careful consideration. Kamron is currently working with one individual who is learning web technologies but who also has a background in I.T. and business management.

This is just another example of someone with the desire to contribute to the Lansing area's  serious shortage of skilled computer programmers as well as the local economy. At any given time within Greater Lansing, www.Indeed.com shows close to 100 or more job openings for Java specialists and only slightly fewer openings for people who know C#, a Microsoft programming language.

The free training and ongoing development will initially take place during weekday evenings at the new Lansing Makers Network location at 2400 W. Saint Joseph St. in Lansing. As the firm matures and business grows, new office space will be located. The Coders Farm website,  www.codersfarm.com, has an automated online blog posting where anyone can stay up to date with the local and national Java programming job market as well as other information related to this new company.
