ALMANSOORI celebrates 38-year history

Jan. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- AlMansoori Specialized Engineering, the leader in oilfield services in the Middle East, has celebrated its 38th Anniversary in December, 2015 with an event hosted at the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, in its founding city, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

CEO, Mr. Nabil Alalawi and Deputy CEO, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Alawi welcomed employees and guests to celebrate the success of the company over the last 38 years, both in the UAE and worldwide.

Founded in Abu Dhabi in 1977, AlMansoori quickly grew from a small company to become a respected international oilfield service provider with bases in Oman, India, Yemen, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia by the 1990s. For each year of its 38-year history it has recorded double digit growth.

Today the company offers a range of services including Production Testing and Early Production Facilities; Drill Stem Testing; Coiled Tubing & Stimulation; Slickline and Completion activities; Workover Drilling; Logging;  Tubing Conveyed Perforating; Tubular and Rig Inspection; Directional Drilling; H2S & Safety; Technical & Safety Training; Manpower Supply, Oilfield Manufacturing; Sponsorship & Representation of various specialized International Companies. AlMansoori also employs a skilled workforce of more than 3,000 across 24 countries throughout the world.

A pivotal moment in the company’s history was the strategic decision to create AlMansoori Petroleum Services (AMPS) and AlMansoori Petroleum Industries (AMPI), which segregated the company’s business units and manufacturing and fabrication unit respectively. The restructure provided customers with benefits such as greater cost efficiencies, centralization with one focal point and less time spent dealing with several different companies.

Mr.Ibrahim Al Alawi, Deputy CEO commented: “AlMansoori has built strong relationships with our customers over our 38 year history. One of our very first clients, a leading operator in the region, is one we still work closely with today. It is these kinds of long-standing relationships where we can work strategically to provide a cost effective and quality service, that have helped AlMansoori become the leading oilfield service provider in the region.”

From its earliest days, AlMansoori has prided itself on a strong HSEQ culture, and its workforce is encouraged and supported in caring for their health and that of their families. Its internal health initiative has won the Company a plethora of Awards including Oil and Gas Middle East - HSE Initiative of the Year; Daman Corporate Health and Wellness Award; and HSE Excellence in Energy Award.
