SAN GABRIEL, Calif. - Jan. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Don Bosco Technical Institute (Bosco Tech) will host the Yurak Memorial Run on its Rosemead campus on Saturday, February 13, 2016. In addition to the race, the event will feature a free health fair and a kids 1/4 mile Fun Run.

All proceeds will benefit Bosco Tech’s Yurak Athletic Center (YAC), the school’s sports training facility and home of its nine competitive sports teams. The center is named after long-time athletic director and football coach Bill Yurak.

Race registration is $30 on or before January 23 and $35 after that date. For school groups of 10 or more, the cost will remain $30 up to the day of race. Online registration is available at www.boscotech.edu/events and same-day registration will be available at the check-in table. Included are racing fees, finisher medal, commemorative T-shirt (if registered by Jan. 23), goodie bag and barbecue lunch. Plaques will be awarded to the top five male and female runners and to the fastest runner under 18 years of age.

Check in begins at 8 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. The kids’ Fun Run is at 10 a.m. with the health fair running throughout the morning. The event will conclude with an awards ceremony and barbeque for all participants. Bosco Tech is located at 1151 San Gabriel Boulevard, Rosemead. Free parking will be available on the grounds of St. Joseph’s Retreat Center at 8301 Arroyo Drive, adjacent to the Bosco Tech campus.
