Stellar Blue Technologies Launches New Website for Wisconsin Media Check

APPLETON, Wis. - Jan. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- Stellar Blue Technologies, a Fox Valley, Wis. based digital marketing firm, launched a new custom website for Wisconsin Media Check Foundation, based out of De Pere, Wis. Wisconsin Media Check is a non-profit organization with a mission to serve the public by holding local media accountable. This is Stellar Blue’s first project with the organization.

The main page of the Wisconsin Media Check website has multiple animated elements. First, visitors will see a main story with a large image, and next to it are two more tiles that have text pop ups that appear when a visitors’ mouse hovers over them. Scrolling down causes other elements and text to animate onto the page. Here visitors can view most recent, most read, and featured articles, find a link to the about page, learn more about media bias or view a live Twitter feed. The website is also compatible with mobile devices for easy viewing.

“The Media Check Foundation website contains a lot of articles and various information. We wanted to make this content easy to find, easy to read and still offer a visually appealing site,” said Marketing Director Amanda Betts.

One of the largest sections of the website describes and talks about types of bias. Visitors can navigate to the various types of bias via a convenient drop down menu. Clicking on a certain type of bias will bring up a description of what it is, as well as any articles related to the topic. An archive holds all of Media Check’s articles for visitors to read. Uploading new articles and content is easy thanks to the implementation of WordPress. Visitors can also get involved and donate via a donation button in the site’s header. Additional features include a fillable contact form that offers a quick and convenient way to get in touch with the Media Check Foundation, and an integrated site search feature that lets visitors find exactly what they’re looking for.
